What the AFERIY P180 Pro is
The AFERIY Nomad1800 Pro P180 Pro is a portable LiFePO4 power station rated at 1,800W continuous AC output with a 1,024Wh internal battery. It combines household-style AC outlets, USB-C, USB-A, DC and car-style outputs in a movable unit intended for camping, RV travel, worksites and emergency backup.
This is a desk review based on AFERIY's official product information, not a hands-on performance test. The official US page showed a $429 price on November 3, 2026, before any coupon; current price and availability should be checked again at purchase.
AFERIY P180 Pro capacity and expansion
The 1,024Wh starting capacity is a practical middle ground between small camping batteries and much heavier whole-home systems. AFERIY says the P180 Pro can expand to 5,120Wh with compatible batteries, which gives buyers a path to longer runtime without replacing the inverter and control unit.
Expansion only helps if the additional batteries are available at a sensible total cost and fit the intended transport plan. Buyers should compare the complete expanded-system price, total weight and charging time rather than judging the base unit alone.
AFERIY P180 Pro output and appliance fit
A 1,800W continuous rating can support many lights, routers, laptops, fans and selected kitchen or workshop devices, but appliance startup demand remains essential. Motors and compressors can require more power at startup than their running label suggests, while heaters and other resistive loads can drain 1,024Wh quickly.
The product is most convincing as a flexible mid-sized station rather than a whole-home replacement. Compare the intended appliance list against the P180 Pro's continuous rating and published surge behaviour before assuming it can run a particular fridge, pump, heater or power tool.
AFERIY P180 Pro recharge options
AFERIY lists multiple recharge routes: AC input up to 1,000W, solar input up to 500W through XT60, car charging at 12V / 8A and combined AC-plus-solar charging. The official page states 0–80% in about 55 minutes on AC or 35 minutes with combined charging under the tested conditions.
Those times are manufacturer claims and depend on input, temperature and the charging mode. For outage planning, the more important question is whether available solar panels fit the 11.5–50V input window and whether daily solar production can replace the energy actually consumed.
AFERIY P180 Pro portability and ownership
At roughly 25.5 lb, the P180 Pro is movable by one person but heavy enough that stairs, vehicle loading and frequent repositioning matter. AFERIY lists a LiFePO4 battery with more than 4,000 cycles and a seven-year warranty for this model, alongside app monitoring and sub-10ms UPS switching.
Warranty, battery-cycle and UPS claims come from AFERIY and should be checked against the current regional terms. Confirm that the US version, charging cables, solar adapter and expected support route are included before ordering.
AFERIY P180 Pro verdict
The P180 Pro is a credible desk-research candidate for buyers who want roughly 1kWh of portable storage, enough output for many household essentials and a later path to expansion. Its strongest argument is flexibility; its main constraints are the weight of a larger system and the need to verify real appliance compatibility.
Choose it when the load list fits comfortably and expansion may be useful later. Look toward the P210 for fixed 2kWh capacity, or the P280 and P310 when higher continuous output and larger expansion matter more than simplicity. Readers needing a guaranteed hands-on ranking should wait for independent measured testing.
Evidence note
This is a desk review, not a hands-on test. It uses AFERIY's official P180 Pro product page and current US checkout pricing checked November 3, 2026; warranty, cycling and charging claims remain manufacturer statements.
